For 2014 we are again collecting for Ronald McDonald House of Central PA.
In 2011 we decided to change our charity to the Ronald McDonald House of Central PA. The Ronald McDonald house does great work for children and helped my family more than once when I was young.
Our family has decided to use this hobby to help raise money for charity. In 2009 we were contacted by Ron Duszak about joining the PA Tour of Lights. He informed us he would be donating to Saint Judes and his inspiration came from Caties’s Wish, an amazing story about an awesome little girl. We made the decision to join him and also collect money for Saint Judes during both the 2009 and 2010 season.
Our family would like to encourage you to embrace the Christmas season and donate to a great charity. We have placed a secure donation box onto our light post, as shown to the right, or you can donate directly to the Ronald McDonald House of Central PA by clicking on the image below. If the Ronald McDonald House isn’t the charity for you, then we encourage you to donate to your favorite charity.
In 2014 over $2,100 was raised for Ronald McDonald House of Hershey
In 2013 over $1,300 was raised.
In 2011 over $2,100 was raised including one brick.
